Forty large 8" × 3.15" Danger cards of modern-day legends, daring street gangs, and shady Gatekeepers — the Deck of Legends gives City of Mist MCs a ready-to-deploy roster of legendary archvillains, sneaky street-rats, unscrupulous mobsters, mythical street gangs, and the ever-elusive Gatekeepers. Pull a card, drop an encounter, keep the story moving.

The deck is fully compatible with the Nights of Payne Town story arc book and works equally well as an on-the-fly encounter generator for any City of Mist campaign. Each card is double-sided: a narrative side with art, description, and flavor text, and a Danger profile side with spectrums, custom moves, hard moves, and soft moves.

What's in the Deck

The 40 cards break down into three categories: 23 purple "Mythos" Danger cards of awakened Rifts and Conjurations, 13 red "Logos" Danger cards of Touched individuals and Sleepers, and 4 blue "Mist" Danger cards of Gatekeepers. Every card is a complete, playable encounter profile — no prep required.
